Look! For clarification: the annotation “with CD player” was never going to be added to the CV. It was a remark that entertained me at the time or boring CV checking. I either was just about to splash out on the CD player or I just had, either way it was one my mind.

Interview over, now home. For reasons similiar to those why people should not start silly facebook groups about school or uni antics (the teachers / lecturers have access to facebook) I feel I cannot comment on the interview on this here blog. I expect to hear from them in a week.

I’m sure you’ve had the interview already so wishing you good luck is probably pointless, but I hope that you wowed them with your RAR uniqueness, charm, enthusiasm, creativity and sheer brilliance. I really look forward to hearing all about it later this evening.

On the humour front, here’s a little insight (for everyone else) into one of Rob’s previous CV’s………
‘I possess a full and clean driver’s licence and have my own transport’ (fine, until you read the annotation beside it….) ‘with CD player’ - I’m sure that future employers really don’t care what music system your car boasts!

Not bad. I like the way all the different sections are clearly separated, different coloured titles, boxes around them, etc.

I think that makes up for the fact it is a few pages longer “than the expected standard”. ;-)

Verdict: 9/10

Thanks guys. 2hrs to go! I am actually nervous for some reason.

Mark - yeah, that detail does need to be replaced but I tried to get a good balance of things in the images. I think I will have to play that tune really loud, and jump around to it, just before the interview.

I don’t know why you’ve still got the detail of a connection you designed in first year. But I like your CV and you should always get called for an interview. I’m sure you don’t need any luck.
