The Southgate redevelopment in Bath has been well under way ever since Churchill House was demolished. Being in the city centre spot that it is makes it impossible for pedestrians and drivers not to notice the large plant perhaps reminiscent of childhood dumper trucks and the like. The little windows put into the perimeter hoarding is not entirely necessary but I think welcome. Even for me, nearly at the end of my civil engineering degree, it is intriguing to see big kit such as the auger pile thing at work - slowly turning.
